LOW MARGINS IN THE THIRD QUARTER

Betting Promotion achieved a gaming turnover of 1 772 MSEK (1791) and a net turnover after fees of 0.2 MSEK (13.2) in the third quarter of 2009. This leads to a gross margin of 0.01% (0.74).

“The third quarter has been disappointing. The theoretical profit, which historically is a good indicator of the profitability, has been good and comparable to previous periods. The last quarter’s figures did not reach expected levels. I believe that the results for the quarter represent the volatility that can occur in extreme cases. This does not have any implications for the long term profitability of the company”, said Johan Moazed, Managing Director of Betting Promotion.
